  • Pages visited, time spent on pages, and referring URLs

  • Emails, phone calls, and messages exchanged with our team

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Transaction screening: To screen transactions against sanctions lists, politically exposed persons (PEP) databases, and adverse media sources
  • Fraud prevention: To detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent or unauthorised transactions
  • Customer support: To respond to your enquiries and resolve issues
  • Service improvement: To analyse usage patterns, improve our platform, and develop new features

We do not use your personal information for automated decision-making that produces legal effects concerning you without human oversight.

4. Information Sharing and Disclosure

  • Banking partners: Schedule I Canadian banks and correspondent banking partners that hold client funds or facilitate settlements
  • Payment partners: Licensed payment service providers in destination countries that process the final leg of your transactions
  • Regulatory authorities: FINTRAC and other regulatory bodies as required by law, including filing of Large Cash Transaction Reports (LCTRs), Electronic Funds Transfer Reports (EFTRs), and Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs)
  • Compliance service providers: Third party screening and verification services used for identity verification, sanctions screening, and PEP checks
  • Professional advisors: Legal counsel, auditors, and accountants as necessary for the operation of our business
  • Law enforcement: Where required by valid legal process, court order, or subpoena

All third parties with whom we share information are contractually required to protect it in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with our legal obligations. Under FINTRAC regulations, we are required to retain certain records for a minimum of five years from the date the record was created or the date the last business transaction was conducted, whichever is later. After the applicable retention period, records are securely destroyed.

By using our cross-border payment services, you acknowledge that certain information (such as beneficiary details and transaction data) will be transferred to jurisdictions outside of Canada for the purpose of processing your payments.
